Kelso‘s new Disc Golf course is now open!
This 9-hole disc golf course has been developed in partnership with Chainlink Disc Golf and is included with all park day passes and CH memberships. Challenge friends and family to a round or practice your skills with a solo game.

Disc golf is similar to traditional golf, but instead of using clubs to hit a ball into a hole, a disc is thrown towards a basket.
The goal is to get the disc into the basket in the fewest tosses or ‘strokes’ possible. The player with the lowest total strokes for the entire course wins.

- Disc golf rounds are free of charge and included with day park passes and CH memberships.
- Kelso offers a 3-disc rental set that includes 1 putter, 1 mid range, and 1 driver. The rental set can be signed out at the Trailhead Sports Rental & Retail store or Boat Rental facility. Rental Fee: $48 (Credit card must be used to rent discs)*$36 will be refunded upon returning the set. Please note that $12 is charged per lost disc.
- Players can purchase their own 3-disc starter set for $30 at the Trailhead Sports Rental & Retail store. Kelso also carries a variety of disc packs from local retailers, including single discs and disc bags. If we do not happen to have the product in that you are looking for, please email us at discgolf@hrca.on.ca and we will do our best to source what you are seeking! Spend $25 or more at our Trailhead Sports Rental & Retail Store between August 17, 2023 to October 29, 2023 to be entered into a draw to win a brand new disc golf bag valued at $300.
Contest Details:
- 1 ballot will be provided for every $25 spent (pre tax) at the Trailhead Sports Rental & Retail Store. Previous purchases will not be eligible.
- There is no limit to the number ballots contestants can enter.
- Ballots must be claimed at the time of purchase and before October 29, 2023 at 4:30 pm.
- The winner will be drawn on October 30, 2023 and must have solved our disc golf contest question correctly to claim their prize.
