Bat Night

Join us at Crawford Lake Conservation Area to learn all about bats! Bat research professionals from Myotistar will leading a bat study on the evening of أغسطس 11 and you are invited! Visitors to this family friendly event will enjoy activities and s’mores around a bonfire with CH educators before watching the researchers catch, study, and release native bats in an effort to learn more about these amazing creatures . You will have a chance to see bats up close, learn about monitoring techniques and technology and learn about bat biology, conservation, threats, and the most current science.
What to bring: Mask (must be worn when close to bats), headlamp, warm clothes, insect repellent, water, snacks, camera
Where to go: This event will take place at the Crawford Lake Visitor Centre.
