- Launched new outdoor programs with community partners, including Healing Projects with Halton Black Voices and our Green Space Newcomer Youth Climate Forum.
- Planted over 1,500 native trees, shrubs, ferns, wildflowers, and grasses to improve natural areas and teach hundreds of Halton students and community members about environmental stewardship.
- Enhanced our network of parks with important improvements to trails, gathering areas and facilities, increasing access to nature at places like Area 8, Kelso, Rattlesnake Point, and Hilton Falls.
- Improved habitat for wildlife with initiatives such as Brookies in Bronte Forever – a long-term project that recently resulted in over 2.8km of restored creek and generated over 330 community volunteer hours.

If you’re looking for a way to engage your team and give back to nature in Conservation Halton’s watershed, we offer customized half-day outdoor stewardship experiences throughout the year. Each year, the Conservation Halton Foundation hosts a gala fundraiser where members and organizations in the community come together to raise awareness and funds for specific Conservation Halton initiatives.
Our most recent gala was held at Kelso Conservation Area on يونيو 1st, 2023. Embracing the concept of Omnia (Latin for “all things considered“) as it relates to the needs and perspectives of our diverse community members, our fundraising focused on reducing barriers so that more people can experience the outdoors and all the benefits it provides. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, donors and guests, Omnia raised over $280,000 for the Conservation Halton Foundation!

The Conservation Halton Foundation’s Memorial and Tribute Plaque Program lets you honour the memory of a loved one or mark a milestone event with a commemorative plaque at a Conservation Halton park. Donations are eligible for a full tax receipt. Funds raised through this program will support the continued protection and preservation of Conservation Halton’s parks and greenspaces so that they can be enjoyed by future generations.
