Mountsberg Conservation Area is pleased to present Christmas Town, a magical visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus in their woodland hideaway.
Our fully guided Christmas Town experience includes:
- A guided woodland wagon ride out to Christmas Town (note: tractor may be used in some cases due to weather or horse health needs)
- A private family visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Holiday scavenger hunt
- Cookie decorating and hot chocolate
- Craft making
- Wooden ornament keepsake
- Visit to the Elf Academy and Toy Central play area
- Visit to the Flight Academy
- Visit to Mrs. Claus’ kitchen where all the tasty treats are baked
- Guests will be able to also enjoy a self-guided visits with our resident raptors (daytime only) and farm animals or playtime on the natural playground

On November 16 to 17 and November 30 to December 1 come explore Mountsberg’s winter wonderland on your own self-guided tour of Christmas Town. Take a walk to the sugarbush and join a group reading from Santa and meet Mrs. Claus. Storytime with Santa also includes cookie decorating, holiday crafts and scavenger hunts, with opportunities to add Raptor Tales to your experience!

Please book only one vehicle per reservation. License plate numbers are used to grant access to the park.
Yes, please bring your e-ticket with you on your phone. There is no need to print your ticket and your e–ticket will be validated at check-in.
Your experience start time will be stated on your e–ticket. You may arrive up to 15 minutes prior to your reservation time. The experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
It is important to arrive on time for your reservation as we are unable to hold the wagon for late arrivals. Late arrivals will enjoy a walk to Christmas Town and wagon ride return.
Santa is very busy and unable to meet with those who show up without a reservation. We are not able to accommodate walk-in visitors.
Sometimes cancellations occur due to extreme weather or safety reasons and we will notify guests by email. We will keep our social media platforms updated for all closures. Follow Conservation Halton on Facebook, Instagram, or X.
Parking is included in your reservation fee. Please park at the main parking lot outside of the Discovery Centre.
Check in with a Visitor Services Representative inside the gift shop of the Discovery Centre upon arrival.
The Raptor Center outdoor enclosures are open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. For the health of the birds, the enclosures are closed from 4:00 pm onwards.
The barn will be open during Christmas Town hours for guests to greet the animals.
Much of Christmas Town takes place outside. Please dress appropriately for the weather, including a winter coat, snow pants, a hat, mittens or gloves, and winter boots, or rain gear if required.
The trails at Mountsberg are stroller friendly. The trail is hard packed, but it is uneven in some sections and some buildings have a lip that may pose a challenge. Winter weather may also impact trail conditions. Please contact us for more information about accessibility – we are happy to help – visitorservices@hrca.on.ca.
Strollers and wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on the wagon ride. However, wheelchairs and strollers can be walked out to Christmas Town by staff, if required.
