Waterpark Safety

Rules & Safety Regulations

Our top priority at Kelso Cove Waterpark is making sure everyone has a fun and safe time on the water.

Please read the rules and regulations carefully before your visit to Kelso Cove Waterpark.

This summer we can play safe and still have a splash!

  • Children under 5 years of age are not permitted on the waterpark
  • Children ages 5-8 must be accompanied by a chaperone 16 years and older
  • Children ages 9-14 may go on the waterpark by themselves, but a parent or guardian must remain on site in the waterpark area
  • All guests must complete a waiver at the time of registration (if under 18 years of age they must be signed by a parent or guardian) 
  • All guests must be fitted with a lifejacket and wear it at all times while on the waterpark 
  • All guests must complete a swim test wearing a lifejacket 
  • Guests must be dressed in appropriate clothing - No loose clothing permitted
  • All guests must complete a safety briefing before accessing the waterpark 
  • Move around the waterpark and between features in a clockwise direction 
  • No headfirst diving from features 
  • Do not enter if water is not clear of other users 
  • Do not climb or swim below other users 
  • Do not overload any single feature 
  • Do not swim underneath any feature 
  • Do not use when lifeguards are not on duty 
  • No pushing or rough play 
  • A maximum of 108 participants allowed on the waterpark feature at one time
  • There is no minimum or maximum weight restriction however guests must be able to comfortably wear a lifejacket approved by Transport Canada, Canadian Coast Guard or Fisheries Oceans Canada.
  • Water is tested weekly
  • Do not use when under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • No smoking or vaping
