Special Spaces Photos
Conservation Halton’s stewardship team wants to celebrate environmental stewardship by sharing photos of the special natural spaces on your property.
Photos will be used to promote landowner stewardship in Conservation Halton’s watershed through our social media network as well as at our workshops and stewardship events.
These could be anything from spectacular views of nature, wildlife, people enjoying your natural space*or anything that makes the natural areas on your property special to you. Including…
- Natural spaces: forests, creeks or wetlands
- Naturalized spaces: fields/meadows, naturalized ponds or pollinator gardens
- Wildlife: Pollinating insects, native wildflowers, birds and mammals
Photos must be taken in the Halton Region Conservation Authority jurisdiction. Photos taken must be of your property or permission from the landowner. You can submit multiple entries of photos less than 10 years (2007 or later).
Please send your photo(s)* to email@example.com by December 31, 2017.
*All photos must be submitted in digital format, as a jpeg file. They must be at least 1600 pixels wide for a horizontal image or 1600 pixels tall for a vertical image and not larger than 4MB (4000 KB).

By entering, participants release and hold harmless Conservation Halton, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, and employees from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the initiative. By submitting a photo(s), you agree to be bound by these general rules and regulations. Conservation Halton reserves the right to use submitted pictures and visuals in post-contest materials without notification of entrant.
