As the sun settles in for the night, the spring forest comes alive with the sounds of peeping frogs and humming insects. It is a perfect time to take the family outdoors to experience the natural environment, and hear the stories and songs of the forest.
On Saturday, May 28, we invite you to grab your comfy pajamas and join us at Crawford Lake Conservation Area for the first Pajama Night (Moon Gardens) of the Season. The event takes place from 7 to 9 p.m.
Special guests from the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory will join us for this pre-registered evening event. You will have the opportunity to meet some cool pollinators, and take home pollinator friendly seeds for your garden. We will take a walk through the moonlit forest and the evening will conclude with a fireside gathering and snack.
The cost for the program is $16 for adults and $11 for seniors (age 65 years and over) and children (age 5 to 14 years), please note all applicable taxes are extra. Children 4 years and under are free.
To register for the May 28 Moon Gardens Pajama Night, please go to the event listing on the Conservation Halton website. Be sure to check out all of the themed Pajama Nights offered throughout the spring and summer months on the Conservation Halton Events Calendar.
