Pajama Nights return to Crawford Lake for spring and summer

Posted by on

The singing birds and peeping frogs are telling you to step away from the electronics and get outside! It may be hard to find natural spaces to enjoy in the evening but at a Crawford Lake Pajama Night, our backyard becomes your ticket to evening natural encounters. These preregistered events are held on the first Saturday of every month between May and September, and run from 7 to 9 p.m.

Pajama Night themes change monthly but include: a guided hike, craft, snack and storytelling. Depending on the theme you may search through a dusky forest for salamanders, talk to fireflies, or howl for coyotes. After a hike, children will create a craft as a memory of their evening. Finally, to conclude the night we will relax by a fire to listen to a story, and enjoy a yummy snack!

Pajama Nights begin on Saturday May 3 with a Salamander Stroll, and continue the first Saturday of every month until September at Crawford Lake. To register, please visit the events calendar on the Conservation Halton website, and click on the Pajama Night of your choice.

The cost for the program is $16 for adults and $11 for seniors (age 65 years and over) and children (age 5 to 14 years), please note all applicable taxes are extra. Children 4 years and under are free. So grab your coziest pajamas and reserve your spot for these special evenings early.
