As the kids put on their pajamas to get ready for bed, the forest awakens with beams of dancing fireflies and mysterious fungi! At Crawford Lake, we have created Pajama Nights to get your little nocturnal creatures out for an evening in nature.
On Saturday August 2, from 7 to 9 p.m., come and trudge through the forest with us in your coziest pajamas as we search for glowing creatures of the night. Maybe we will even talk to a firefly or two. After the hike we will create a luminescent craft and gather around a fire for storytelling and a snack.
To register for the August 2 Night Lights - Pajama Night, please click here. The cost for the program is $16 for adults and $11 for seniors (ages 65 years and over) and children (ages 5 to 14 years) plus HST. Children 4 years of age and under are free. So grab your slippers and reserve your spot for these special evenings early.
Pajama Nights are held the first Saturday of every month until September at Crawford Lake. To register, please visit the events calendar on the Conservation Halton website, and click on the Pajama Night of your choice.
