Hey kids, why not bring your dad out to Mountsberg Conservation Area and explore on Father’s Day.
We will hunt for frogs and dragonflies, dip net for pond critters, search for snakes, insects (including the Praying Mantis), and explore the swamp. We finish up around the campfire where we will learn how to make a fire without a match, because nothing ends a morning of exploring like a good old fashioned hot dog roast.
Explore with Dad is Sunday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to noon. This is a pre-registered event, tickets are $17 for adults, $12 for children (age 5 to 14 years), $12 for seniors (ages 65 years and over), FREE for preschool (ages 4 years and under). To register, please visit the Conservation Halton website, at www.conservationhalton.ca/events. Call Mountsberg at (905) 854-2276 for more information on the program. Be sure to reserve your spot early to spend your day with dad at Mountsberg!
