Mountsberg Conservation Area is celebrating the first blush of spring with its annual Easter Egg Extravaganza – March 25, 26 and 27, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Join in the fun of a giant, non-competitive Easter Egg hunt where everyone goes home with a treat and children of all ages and abilities can participate. The Cameron Barnyard is having a baby boom and you are invited to meet the new arrivals, adorable baby bunnies and little peeping chicks.
Little ones will love the colouring station and having their faces painted to look like the Easter Bunny. For the older crowd live Bird of Prey demonstrations will take place at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. and the Mountsberg Raptors will be available for viewing on the Wildlife Walkway.
To top off the day, visit Maple Town. This quintessentially Canadian spring experience features syrup drenched pancakes and sausage in the pancake house, educational wagon rides through the sugar bush, and tasty morsels of maple sugar in the Candy Cabin. A truly delectable way to spend the weekend!
