Kelso Conservation Area will have an outdoor movie doubleheader on Labour Day Weekend with Beauty and the Beast on Friday and Trolls on Saturday. Trolls was originally scheduled to be the opening night movie for the 2017 Kelso Family Outdoor Movie Nights season, on Friday, August 11, however it was postponed due to inclement weather.
Crawford Lake is pleased to welcome noted speaker Eddy Robinson and artist/educator Reagan Kennedy to present a special Summer Institute “Truth and Reconciliation: Implementing the Calls To Action” for educators and interested members of the public. The workshop is on Tuesday, August 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Courtcliffe Park Restoration Project reached another significant milestone with the completion of Phase 3 of the multi-phase creek restoration project on Friday, July 14. The signature feature of Phase 3 has seen the flows of Mountsberg Creek returned to its original creek channel.
Conservation Halton issued a Watershed Conditions Statement - Flood Outlook at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 23. Conservation Halton is asking all residents to stay away from watercourses and structures such as bridges, culverts and dams. Elevated water levels, fast flowing water, and slippery conditions along stream banks make these locations extremely dangerous. Please alert children in your care of these imminent dangers.
