Geocaching

Did you know that there are geocaches hidden at all of the Conservation Halton Parks? Geocaching is like a digital treasure hunt that uses a GPS-based app instead of a tattered, old map. Geocaching is a great way to explore new cities, towns, parks and trails, and maybe even find a bit of treasure, like snacks, toys, gifts, art and other tokens of respect for your cache-finding skills. Click here to learn more about geocaching and download the app to get started.

Creating and hiding your own geocache in one of the Conservation Halton Parks is a great way to share your love for the parks by encouraging others to discover them. If you want to hide a geocache at one of the parks, please contact us at geocache@hrca.on.ca in advance, so we can make sure that the location is safe for other visitors, and that it will not damage the sensitive plants and animals species in the area.
