Rock Climbing

Whether you are a long-time climbing junkie or you’re a newbie to the climbing world, there’s nothing quite like rock climbing in the outdoors. Conservation Halton Parks offers rock climbing at Rattlesnake Point, Mount Nemo and Kelso, so you can push your limits and climb to new heights on the edge of escarpment.

  • Never climb, wrap or sling around trees, or damage other plants for any climbing purposes.
  • Always be respectful of wildlife and their habitat. This is their home, and we are just visiting.
  • Stay on hiking trails and climbing routes to prevent causing damage to the environment.
  • Use garbage and recycling bins or bring your trash home. Never leave trash at the crags!
  • Do not remove flowers, leaves, mushrooms, etc. If everyone did it, there would be none left.
  • Drinking alcohol and smoking of any kind is prohibited for the safety of yourself and others.
