For many people, there is nothing more relaxing than sitting in a boat or on a creek bank, casting a line into the water and waiting for a bite while listening to the sounds of nature. Fly fishing, shoreline fishing and non-motorized boat fishing are permitted at Hilton Falls, Mountsberg, Kelso and Robert Edmondson.
As always, a valid Ontario Fishing License is required for those 18 years of age and older.
(Ice fishing is not permitted at any of the parks.)
Fishing is permitted in the reservoir at Hilton Falls but only from the shore. No boats of any kind are permitted in the reservoir at Hilton Falls.
Also, please be aware that live bait is not permitted at any of the Conservation Halton Parks.

Smaller boats, such as canoes and kayaks, can be launched at Mountsberg Dam or carried a short distance from the parking lot to the shore at Mountsberg. Larger boats can only be launched from Mountsberg Dam, but must be non-motorized. (Boats with electric trolling motors are permitted as an exception.) Fishing is allowed from the shoreline of Kelso reservoir except for around the Beach, Dog beach & Boat rentals beach for the safety of staff and visitors. Caution should also be used when fishing around the dam structure, please adhere to signage
