Mountsberg Conservation Area is a hoot. A hoot. Get it? Because we have owls. Puns aside, Mountsberg is the proud home of our renowned Raptor Centre, where you can come nose-to-beak with a great cast of feathered personalities.
Mountsberg is the ideal destination for families yearning the nostalgia of horse-drawn wagon rides, watching their children’s eyes widen as they pet a grazing goat and of course a stop at the Play Barn.
Not just for kids, Mountsberg also offers 16 km of trails, bird-watching, a bison herd and even private Raptor Encounters.
- Taking in an unforgettable experience at our Raptor Centre. Chances are you won’t see a raptor this close-up many places else. And you will learn something on every visit.
- Walking along the boardwalk to a covered observation deck. Depending on the time of year, how many nesting species can you spot?
- Observing a bison herd. How close will they get this visit?
- Supporting the Shrike project. Help bring this species back from the brink!
