Raptor Camp, not just for kids anymore, sign up for June 3, 2017

Have you ever wanted to attend Ways of the Woods Raptor Camp? Well, now you and your family can! Kids (ages 5 years and older) and kids at heart are invited to join us for a day filled with camp activities including games, hands-on activities, and handling a live bird of prey. Raptor Camp for Families is being held at Mountsberg Conservation Area on Saturday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Activities include: learning about how raptor wings work and explore the principles of flight by making and testing paper airplanes, hear a legend about vultures, play the "Vulture Vomit Toss" game, learn about the diets of the birds and watch them be fed.

Raptor Camp for Families runs on Saturday June 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and requires pre-registration. To register, please visit the Conservation Halton website, at www.conservationhalton.ca/events. Participants must be 5 years of age and older. The fees are Adults $24, and Children ages 5 to 14 years are $17. The fees do not include HST. Just like regular camp, campers must bring their own lunch!
