Have you been looking for something the whole family can do for New Year’s Eve this year? How about a celebration that brings the great outdoors and family fun together into an evening your family will remember for many years? The New Year’s Eve Hoopla at Mountsberg Conservation Area is where you need to be.
Mountsberg will be offering a selection of activities the whole family can enjoy from 6 to 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Take a wagon ride, view a puppet show, go on a guided hike, visit with one of Mountsberg’s owls, make a special New Year’s craft, or join in an old fashioned Country Dance with live music. There is nothing like sitting under a starry sky around a winter campfire with a cup of tasty hot chocolate, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Whatever you choose, the evening will fly by in a flurry of fun.
We will ring in the New Year with some treasured Mountsberg traditions by 9 p.m. so families can get younger ones home to bed and adults have time to get ready for midnight.
New Year’s Eve Hoopla tickets are $24 for adults, $15 for children (age 5 to 14 years), $15 for seniors (ages 65 years and over), $5 for preschool (ages 4 years and under) plus HST. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
