Mountsberg Conservation Area is celebrating the first blush of spring with its annual Easter Egg Extravaganza – April 14, 15, and 16, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day.
Join in the fun of a giant, non-competitive Easter Egg hunt where everyone goes home with a treat and children of all ages and abilities can participate. The new Mountsberg Barn is having a baby boom and you are invited to meet the new arrivals; bouncing baby lambs and kids, and little peeping chicks!
Little ones will love the colouring station and having their faces painted to look like an Easter Bunny. For the older crowd live Bird of Prey demonstrations will take place at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., and the Mountsberg Raptors will be available for viewing on Wildlife Walkway.
Guests will also enjoy wagon rides and playing in the play barn. Barbecued treats and maple taffy on snow will be available for purchase, a truly delectable way to spend Easter weekend.
Please visit www.conservationhalton.ca/events or call 905-854-2276 for more details on this or other park programs.
Park admission is $7.50 for adults, $6.50 for seniors and $5.25 for children age 5 to 14 years. Children 4 years of age and under are free. Additional fees apply for the wagon rides. As always, visitors may use their gate receipt for free admission to any other Conservation Halton park when visiting the same day.
