BURLINGTON – Conservation Halton held its 57th Inaugural Board meeting last week on Thursday, February 21. John Vice, citizen appointee from the City of Burlington, was acclaimed as Chair of the Board and Keith Bird, Regional and Town Councillor from Oakville, was acclaimed as Vice-Chair. Both will be in their third year in these roles.

CAMPBELLVILLE – Mountsberg Conservation Area is holding Tales by a Winter Fire on Family Day Weekend (February 16 to 18) with activities and interests for the whole family. The event offers horse drawn sleigh rides ending with tasty hot chocolate and marshmallows. Weather permitting there will also be tobogganing on our gentle slopes for the kids and young at heart.
