Self Guided Hikes

Scenic Lookouts:

Pinnacle Lookout – Towering cliffs and stunning vantage points. Upper level. 1.5 km round trip (20 min) (easy hike). Follow the Vista Adventure trail.

Buffalo Crag – Catch a glimpse of soaring turkey vultures across the beautiful Nassagaweya Canyon. Lower level. 3 km round trip (1 hour) (moderate hike). Follow the Buffalo Crag trail.

Rock Climb with Zen Climb

Basic Pruning

Keep your trees and shrubs beautiful and healthy. Explore basic pruning tools & techniques and with local tree expert Bob Baker, of Baker Tree Services. Sessions will take place at 1pm & 2pm for approx. 30 minutes.

Cross Saw Demonstration

Step back in time with Conservation Halton’s Foresters as we take you through the motions of using an old-fashioned cross-cut saw. This activity will test your lumberjack speed, strength, and teamwork.

Join Pat Kelly as he guides you through building a bird nest box that you can take home to help increase the bird diversity in your yard.

Guided Hikes

Join the Iroquoia Bruce Trail Club for a guided hike (approx. 40 min) and learn more about the beautiful landscape of Rattlesnake Point. Hikes will begin at 11am with following hikes departing as people gather.

Join Pollination Guelph to make your own wooden bee box. Help native pollinators in your own garden by providing a cozy nesting place.


Chainsaw Carving
