Join Conservation Halton’s ecosystem restoration staff to improve the health of Bronte Creek and wetland habitat. At this community restoration work day we will be planting wetland plants in a newly constructed floodplain wetland near Bronte Creek. We will also install wooden painted fish on the fence in Courtcliffe Park to create a beautiful fish mural. Wooden fish were painted by children and community members at the annual Duck Dash & Bronte Creek Family Fun Day. The mural will remind residents to take care of their local creek and will beautify the park. It is part of the “Stream of Dreams” national education program. No previous experience required. All equipment needed provided. If you have your own pair of hip or chest waders please indicate in RSVP.
