Tour of Discovery CL Ontario’s First Nations heritage comes to life during this guided exploration of a reconstructed 15th century Iroquoian village. See what life in a longhouse was like over 600 years ago. Time Capsule CL A guided hike around Crawford Lake on an elevated boardwalk affords you the perfect view of this incredible natural resource. Learn about this rare meromictic lake’s unique natural and geological features as well as how Iroquoian and Pioneer people would have relied upon its bounty. 1.5 hrs

Snowshoe Adventure CL A fun, outdoor experience to help newcomers learn the joys of the Canadian winter! Crawford Lake provides the snowshoes and instruction and your students provide the sense of adventure! This is an active program that requires warm winter attire. 1.5 hrs

Maple Syrup Time! MB A Mountsberg classic and a true Canadian culinary experience! Take the horse-drawn wagon to Maple Town to tap a maple tree, smell the boiling sap, and taste fresh maple syrup. An optional lunch of fresh pancakes and syrup can be purchased for your entire group. Activities include:Horse drawn wagon ride, guided tour of a working sugar bush, tree tapping demonstration, maple syrup tasting. 1.5 hrs

Birds of Prey MB Introduce your students to some of Ontario’s most majestic species! Newcomers may never encounter a bear or a moose in their Canadian experience but our incredible raptors can be seen soaring over the GTA daily. Students engage in guided exploration of the wildlife walkway where they will become familiar with the Ontario Owls, Hawks, Falcons, Eagles and Vultures they might see soraing overhead. Mountsberg staff will introduce the group to several of the park’s resident raptors to give your students a nose-to-beak experience with Canadian wildlife they will never forget. Activities include: Interaction with live birds of prey, guided tour of the wildlife walkway trail. 1.5 hrs
