REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL #CH - CRAWFORD LAKE 1 – 2013

PROJECT: 2013 Chainsaw Carving Contract

CLOSING DATE: Friday June 7, 2013 12:00 pm. (Burlington, Ontario time)

Conservation Halton is inviting interested parties to respond to a Request for Proposal with regard to a chainsaw carving project at Crawford Lake Conservation Area. Crawford Lake Conservation Area is located east of Guelph Line, approximately 20km north of Burlington and 15km west of Milton at the east end of Conservation Road (also known as Steeles).

The project consists of a total of 10 carvings and may fall over more than one year depending on the availability of a suitable carver, the total price, and the availability of funds to complete the project. Additional carvings at Crawford Lake or other Conservation Halton managed properties may follow the initial project.

A site meeting is being held on Tuesday May 28th 2013 for interested parties that wish to visit the property, discuss the availability on on site material and meet with staff. A note of this meeting with any queries raised will be made available shortly thereafter to all interested parties. The cost of the documents is $25.00 (plus H.S.T). Please bring a business card or other identification with you when picking up the document. Conservation Halton will accept cash, cheques or Visa/MasterCard.
