The stars in the night sky have captured the imaginations of all nations for thousands of years. What do you know about the science of astronomy? Beginners and experts alike will be star-struck with the extensive knowledge of our special guest speaker.

Mr. Phil Mozel will be your guide to the galaxies. Formerly at the Ontario Science Centre and the McLaughlin Planetarium, Phil will introduce you to other worlds, through informative presentations, breathtaking slides and hands-on telescope experience.

Register early to ensure your participation as seats can fill quickly! Explore the Night Sky is being offered on Saturday, October 3 at 7 p.m. at Mountsberg Conservation Area. This fascinating, fun and fact filled evening with the stars will delight astronomy fans of all ages. In case the clouds should cover the stars, we have an indoor itinerary planned.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own telescopes and binoculars. You are also reminded to dress for the weather, fall nights can get chilly.
